GRIEVE ✦ BREATHE ✦ LIVE
Membership Terms and Conditions - Louise Lawrie
About these Membership Terms
These Membership Terms & Conditions apply to your membership of Grieve • Breathe • Live,
operated by Louise Lawrie as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
By purchasing and maintaining a membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Grieve • Breathe • Live is a paid online grief-support membership providing educational content,
reflective resources, audio and video materials, community access and live member sessions.
These Terms should be read alongside the Grieve • Breathe • Live Privacy Notice and Community
Guidelines.
If you have any questions about these Terms, you can contact:
Email: louise@grieve-breathe-live.co.uk
Business WhatsApp: 07521 521460
2. Membership and What Is Included
Membership of Grieve • Breathe • Live provides access to a private online grief-support
space hosted on Skool.
Depending on the content available at the time, membership may include:
• Video and audio resources
• Reflective worksheets and practical tools
• Access to the GRIEVE, BREATHE and LIVE resource areas
• Access to the private member community
• Monthly live Q&A and reflection sessions
• Access to selected session replays
• New or updated resources added over time
Membership content may be updated, added to, replaced or removed from time to time as
the service develops. Membership does not guarantee access to any specific number of
new resources, live sessions or recordings in any particular month.
Live sessions may occasionally need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to illness,
technical issues or other reasonable circumstances. Where possible, members will be
given appropriate notice.
3. Membership Fees, Billing and Renewal
Grieve • Breathe • Live is offered as a monthly paid membership.
The current membership price will be clearly displayed before you join. Payments are
processed securely through the platform/payment provider used by Grieve • Breathe •
Live.
Membership renews automatically each month unless you cancel before your next
renewal date.
By joining, you authorise the relevant payment provider to take the recurring monthly
membership fee until you cancel your membership.
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by
following the cancellation process provided by the membership platform.
If you cancel, you will normally retain access until the end of the billing period you have
already paid for, after which your membership access will end.
If the membership price changes in future, existing members will be given reasonable
notice before any new price applies to them.
4. Cancellation, Cooling-Off and Refunds
You may cancel your Grieve • Breathe • Live membership at any time.
If you cancel, your membership will normally remain active until the end of the billing
period you have already paid for, after which access will end.
Where applicable, UK consumers may have a legal right to cancel an online purchase
within 14 days. However, where you ask for access to digital content or services to begin
immediately, your cancellation rights may be affected once access has started.
Any statutory rights you have under UK consumer law are not affected by these Terms.
Refunds are not normally provided for periods of membership that have already been
accessed or used, unless required by law or where there has been an error with billing or
a significant failure in the service provided.
5. Intellectual Property and Use of Resources
All original content provided through Grieve • Breathe • Live, including videos, audio
recordings, written materials, worksheets, reflections, graphics, resources and other
educational content, remains the intellectual property of Grieve • Breathe • Live / Louise
Lawrie unless otherwise stated.
Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to access and use these
materials for your own individual use.
You may download resources where downloading has been enabled, but you must not:
• Copy, reproduce or substantially recreate membership content
• Share resources, recordings or downloads with non-members
• Upload membership content to other websites, groups, platforms or social media
• Sell, licence, teach from or commercially use the materials without written permission
• Remove branding, copyright notices or ownership information from resources
• Allow another person to use your membership account to access paid content
Membership content may not be redistributed or used to create competing or derivative
products or services without prior written permission.
Any unauthorised copying, sharing or commercial use may result in removal from the
membership and may also infringe copyright law.
6. Community Participation and Member Conduct
Grieve • Breathe • Live includes access to a private member community. Members are
expected to use the space respectfully and in accordance with the Community
Guidelines.
When participating in the community, you agree not to:
• Harass, intimidate, pressure or behave inappropriately towards other members
• Share another member’s personal information, posts, comments, images, messages or
disclosures outside the community without their explicit permission
• Screenshot, record, copy or redistribute another member’s content without permission
• Post unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, threatening or sexually inappropriate content
• Diagnose other members or provide medical or mental-health advice
• Promote, advertise or spam the community without permission
• Use the community to solicit members for unrelated products, services or groups
Members remain responsible for what they choose to share within the community and
should only share information they feel comfortable making visible to other members.
I may remove posts, comments or other content where reasonably necessary to protect
members, maintain the purpose of the community or enforce these Terms and the
Community Guidelines.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in suspension or removal from the membership.
7. Live Sessions and Recordings
Membership may include access to live online sessions, including teaching, reflection,
discussion and Q&A.
Some live sessions, or parts of live sessions, may be recorded and made available to
members as replays.
Where a session is being recorded, this will be made clear to participants.
You are not required to speak, turn on your camera or share personal information during
live sessions.
If you choose to contribute while a session is being recorded, your voice, image, name or
comments may be included in the recording.
Please only share information that you are comfortable having included in a member-only
replay.
Replays are for the personal use of members only and must not be copied, downloaded,
shared or distributed outside the membership without permission.
I may edit, remove or choose not to publish a recording where appropriate, including
where sensitive or personal information has been shared.
8. Scope of Support
Grieve • Breathe • Live is an educational and supportive grief membership.
It is not therapy, counselling, medical treatment or a crisis service, and it is not intended
to replace support from your GP, mental health professional or other healthcare provider.
Although Louise Lawrie is a Registered Nurse and Holistic Trauma-Informed Grief
Coach, she is not providing nursing, medical or mental-health treatment through the
membership.
The information, resources and discussions within the membership are intended to
support reflection, understanding and self-awareness. They are not a substitute for
individual assessment, diagnosis or treatment.
Members are responsible for deciding what feels appropriate for them and for seeking
professional or emergency support where needed.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, you should contact emergency or
crisis services in your area.
9. Suspension or Ending Membership
You may cancel your membership at any time in accordance with the cancellation terms
above.
I may suspend or end a membership where there has been a serious or repeated breach
of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or where behaviour is reasonably considered
harmful, unsafe, abusive or disruptive to the community.
Where appropriate, I may first remove content, issue a warning or temporarily restrict
access before ending a membership.
In serious circumstances, membership may be ended immediately.
If membership is ended because of a breach of these Terms or the Community
Guidelines, access to the membership and member-only content will end and a refund
will not normally be provided, except where required by law.
I also reserve the right to discontinue the membership service in future. If this happens,
reasonable notice will be given where possible and any appropriate refund for unused
paid access will be considered.
10. Changes to the Membership or These Terms
Grieve • Breathe • Live may continue to develop over time. Content, resources, live
sessions, features or the way the membership is delivered may be updated, added to,
changed or removed where reasonably necessary.
These Terms & Conditions may also be updated from time to time to reflect changes to
the membership, legal requirements or the platforms used to provide the service.
Where a change is significant and is likely to materially affect members, reasonable
notice will be given where possible.
The most recent version of these Terms will be made available through the Grieve •
Breathe • Live website and/or membership space.
Continued use of the membership after updated Terms take effect will mean that the
updated Terms apply, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
